I am a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a teacher, a student and a friend. I am both liberal and Southern...which, many days, seems to be contradicting identities. I have never "blogged" before, but a dear friend suggested that I start one...so a 'Hippy Chick' was born. This humbling endeavor is a small step towards the original meaning of courage.
